Acupuncture & Harbal Medicine

The majority of acupuncture skills used by Taka is that of a combination of traditional Chinese and Japanese methods, which is a virtually painless style of performing acupuncture treatment. Additional techniques used to treat acute and chronic health conditions are Herbal Medicine, and Nutrition Conditioning.

One aspect of Taka's practice is prevention primarily based on the ancient art of Chinese Medicine. Contrary to Western Medicine, Chinese Medicine is not only for the treatment of symptoms, but more for the treatment of source of the ailment. The final outcome is to bring the patient back to health physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Acupuncture---What is "Acupuncture"?
A simplest way of exlaining acupuncture is the practice of lightly inserting needles (sterilized and disposable) into key points of the body to correct imbalances of life energy, also known as Qi (pronounced "chee"), and to generate one's inner strength by that act.
How is Accupuncture Used?

Acupuncture can be effective in different ways. It is effective to prevent illness, to promote health and well-being by stimulating the person's immune system. For example The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes acupuncture for treatment of the following medical problems:

-Gastrointestinal disorders---peptic ulcer, chronic diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, gastrointestinal weakness, anorexia and gastritis
-Urogenital disorders---stress incontinence, urinary tract infections (UTI)

-Gynecological disorders---irregular, heavy, or painful menstruation, infertility, and pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS).

-Respiratory disorders---bronchial asthma, sinusitis, sore throat, common cold.

-Musculoskeletal and nervous system disorders---: arthritis, back, neck and shoulder pain, migraine headaches, neuralgia, insomnia and dizziness.

-Circulatory Disorders: hypertension, angina pectoris, and anemia.

-Emotional and Psychological disorders: depression and anxiety.
-Addictions---alcohol, nicotine, and drug dependencies.

-Eye, ear, nose and throat disorders

-Acupuncture is also effective for Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome, and weight control.

Chines Herbal Medicine
The prescription of herbal medicine is used to treat or prevent specific health problems and to enhance the effectiveness of the acupuncture treatments.

All products provided are produced by well established manufactures in China. Each product has obtained a production permit and passed the inspection by the Health Department of the People's Republic of China.

All herbs prescribed by Taka have been legally imported under strict supervision of the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture and the agencies of applicable European countries. All ingredients used are 100% natural and contain NO chemicals or pharmaceuticals.

Neutritional Session
This portion of the treatment deals with the analysis and training of dietary in-take and aims at shifting the patent's condition to a continuous, positive state.so that the foundation for long term wellness is established.

Nutritional sessions include three phases:
1. Data gathering (medical history, diet and lifestyle, physical evaluations).

2. Recommendations focusing on the patient's specific health issues.

3. Follow-up visits for reaching and maintaining goals.
